On Saturday, February 11th, 2012, the Lady Vikings Basketball team welcomed and honored Berry's 1976 Women's National Championship basketball team back to the Cage as they played against LaGrange College. Before the game, both teams and Coach Dunn mingled over brunch. Celeste Giordano (78c), a member of the 1976 Championship team hoped that her team was "able to change their [the current Lady Vikings] mindset and attitude to think-act-get big together as ONE TEAM, ONE DREAM".
