Karen Christensen Fenaroli graduated in 1983 with a BS in accounting. She earned her MBA, also in 1983, through an accelerated program that Berry offered at the time.
While a student at Berry, Karen worked in the business office. She went to work for KPMG in Atlanta as a manager for the next 7 years. Karen established her own business, CC Whittier where she designed and sold bridal headpieces for small Atlanta bridal boutiques. When Karen married her husband, Paul, she moved to Boston and ran her business out of her home. She sold CC Whittier and moved the wholesale business out of her home. She added additional product lines…shoes, jewelry, children’s dress, and handbags. She opened a company retail boutique in New York and Chicago. Karen’s business now serves such famous names at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Priscilla and leading independent bridal salons and shoe stores across the country.
Karen has just opened a new boutique outside Boston and has contracts for manufacturing in Italy, Spain and Rhode Island. Karen has two children, Gabrielle and Serena. She is very active in the United Way of Massachusetts and balances her family and community work with her growing business.
