Action-packed Fall

In true Georgia fashion, the colors and temperatures of fall finally hit Berry College in late October. As students pulled out their sweaters and scarves, the campus around them donned coats of reds, oranges and golds reminding us all that seasons do still exist!

In the days leading up to Halloween, Berry athletes competing against fellow teammates in costume to raise money for their annual fundraiser.  The Berry College Block & Bridle Club led Scary Berry, a haunted hayride open to the public. Berry students also gathered at the gothic Ford Complex for the Halloween dance and haunted house, dancing and screaming the night away.

As the semester winds down, students are taking full advantage of the outdoors before diving into the books. The weather accommodated a fireside chat with Berry President Steven Briggs and students. And even the trek between classes is made a little nicer due to the beautiful surroundings. If you keep your eye out, you may spot a deer or two straight out of a Disney movie. October also welcomes the lauded return of the Berry College eagles who are preparing the nest for eggs to come.
