Happy Feet

The Berry College Dance Troupe recently presented its annual dance concert over three days. Each dancer embodied this year's theme of "Eudamonia" (Greek for happiness) as they gracefully performed a mix of ballet, hip-hop, and contemporary pieces; all of which were accompanied by colorful costumes and ethereal music.

Overall, "Eudamonia" beautifully showcased various ways that happiness directly affects and comes from so many things that we do in our everyday lives.

Berry senior Marley Simonis, of Huntsville, Ala., performed her final dance as a member of the Dance Troupe.

"As I look back on my four years at Berry, I can definitely say that this concert has been one of the most important and memorable parts of my college experience," she said. "Not only have I gotten to continue my passion of dance, but I have gained invaluable work experience through being dance concert manager and I developed friendships with a group of incredible dancers."
