For a few weeks every fall, nature puts on one of its most spectacular displays as native trees and shrubs finish out the growing season in a brilliant display of fall colors at Berry. Students are taking time to relax and enjoy this vivid scenery since the onslaught of midterms has passed.
"The weather is amazing outside. I love mountain biking Berry's trails or just chilling in my hammock and watching the sunset," said junior Kenny Bittick of Warner Robins, Ga.
Daniela Angulo Contreras, a senior from Costa Rica, had never experienced autumn until her freshman year.
"In Costa Rica, we only have a dry and rainy season. I was astonished by the beautiful array of colors. I took so many pictures! Every year I'm still in awe but my freshman year will always be the most memorable," Contreras said.
Berry is renowned for its picturesque campus, but there is something particularly special about how beautiful it looks during the fall season.
