Class Descriptions
Aqua Jog
Aqua Jogging is exactly what it sounds like…it’s jogging…in the water…but there is actually more to it than that. If you’ve suffered certain kinds of knee or leg injuries that keep you from running on land while you recover, aqua jogging can actually be an excellent alternative to help you stay fit. If you just flat out love the water, aqua jogging is a perfectly viable alternative to going for a run to stay in shape as well. (45 min class)
Cardio-Circuit
Some have said that Cardio-Circuit is among the fastest ways to get into shape. Cardio-Circuit is an all systems go training class where muscle ad music collide. You'll love to stay moving as you go from station to station. Get ready! This class is low on complexity but high on fun! (1 hour class)
Cardio & Core
This evening class combines an hour of herat pumping cardio, both on and off the step. Start your week off right with new approaches to classic exercises such as jumping jacks, walking lunges and kickboxing style moves. The second half of class focuses on core and abdominal strengthening. Take a break from your routine crunches as you sculpt your abs using weights, balance balls, medicine balls and plyometric exercises! All fitness levels are encouraged to attend. (1 hour class)
Cardio Hula
A dance fitness class to work your heart and tone your abs buns and legs using elements of the tahitian and hula dances. (1 hour class)
Flex & Pump
Press & Lift is a group strength training workout with dumbbells that is designed to shape ad tone your total body. We've set it to energizing music and combined movements from gym floor for a fast-paced, results-oriented workout that is adaptable to most ability levels. (1 hour class)
Group Run
Anyone at any skill level wanting to go for a run, improve their aerobic fitness, find a running partner, train for a race, or have a fun time is invited to join us. We will meet on the steps of the Cage Center. (1 hour class)

Silat: Indonesian Martial Arts
“Satria Muda Indonesia” is a modern form of silat. It is a combination of several traditional styles Wwest Sumatera, West Java, and Jakarta. In Satria Muda Indonesia (SMI), students learn to use simple movements, but usefull for self defense. This style is smooth, efficient, and sometimes beautiful. The movements imitate the movements of animals, water, wind or plants. (2 hour class)
Spinning
Spinning is the original group cycling class. Torch up to 40 calories per minute on your bike with no complicated moves to learn. Regardless of your fitness level, you'll get a heart pounding, low impact workout. (45 minute class)
Step & Sculpt
Step & Sculpt is an hour of high intensity, high energy exercise designed to provide an effective lower-body workout. This step aerobics class combines a variety of fast-paced music and creative choreography guaranteed to get your heart pumping and your muscles toned. (1 hour class)
Total Body Boot Camp
A high energy, medium impact class to improve cardiovascular endurance and increase overall muscle tone. Two thirds of class time is spent moving through a circuit of plyometirc-type exercises, including a variety of lunges, sit ups, push ups and explosive cardio moves. After completing the circuit, the class focuses on various muscle groups, incorporating weights and balance balls. Finally, cool down with a total body stretch. (1 hour class)
TRX
Designed by a Navy SEAL as a go anywhere workout, this set of nylon straps creates resistance from two sources always at your disposal: body weight and gravity. Lock the straps onto any elevated fixture - a pullup bar, door, or tree branch - and you'll unlock new dimensions in your training. Resistance can be adjusted from 5 percent to 100 percent of body weight by changing the incline of your body. (1 hour class)
Water Aerobics
Looking for a workout that is easy on your joints, but still works your heart and major muscle groups? Water aerobics is all that, plus it's a fun and a comfortable way to keep moving in hot weather. (50 minute class)
Water Weights
Why pump iron when you can pump water? Are you tired of the same old wight routine? Water Weights is an innovative mixture of wight training and cardio at the same time! Classes will vary, Tuesdays: Deep Water Days, Wednesdays: Shallow Water Days and Thursdays: Circuit Training. (50 minute class)
Yoga
Develops strength and flexibility while keeping your body, mind, and spirit rejuvenated. Increases balance, focus, and through breathing techniques, energizes the body and internal organs. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat or towel. ( 1 hour class)
Yogafit
If you don't think you're flexible enough for traditional yoga then Yogafit is for you! Yogafit combines elements of Hatha yoga with traditional fitness exercises and stretching routines. (45 minute to 1 hour class)
Dance and Sculpt
The class will incorporate a complete cardio workout, balance, sculpting and stretching. All fitness levels are welcome. Fee required. (1 hour class)
