(See HIS 301.) Study of the use, misuse and value of historical subjects depicted in film. Uses films from a variety of genres, times and places as test cases for analysis of historical events, periods and personalities. PR: FLM 210 or CI

350. Topics in the History of Film - 3-0-3
Emphasis upon a particular period or movement in the history of film, the work of a particular director or a particular national cinema. May be retaken for credit. PR: FLM 210 or CI.

418. Special Topics in Film - 3-0-3
Special topics in film, including treatment of particular themes, genres or subjects of interdisciplinary interest. May be retaken for credit. PR: FLM 210 or CI.
