Biographical Information:  James Llewellyn Leggett was educated at Virginia Christian College and the University of Virginia. He taught chemistry and physics in addition to his responsibilities as a principal. 

Description: Routine correspondence addresses such matters as supply orders and requests for information about the Berry Schools. Student correspondence includes letters to former and current students. These deal with credits earned and students unable to return to school as well as work opportunities and other financial concerns. 

Arrangement :  Original order was maintained during processing. Materials are arranged in alphabetical order by surname and in reverse chronological order within each folder. Container and folder list available by request.
