Biographical Information:
Description: The bulk of the letters are appeals for donations of equipment, including machinery and equipment for the farm, kitchens, and the grounds. Some notable items in this series include cards from Miss Berry's funeral, applications for employment at the Berry Schools, letters regarding Miss Berry's attempt to get an exemption for the schools for certain taxes in 1921, and materials pertaining to a student strike orchestrated by Don West.
There is also some correspondence in this series between Miss Berry and Mrs. Inez Henry that reveals more about Miss Berry's personal feelings and concerns than most of her other correspondence.
Arrangement: This series consists of Miss Berry's office correspondence organized by subjects and filed chronologically within each subject.
