CMC Mission and Purpose
Mission
The mission of the Curriculum Materials Center is to provide curriculum resources for the students and faculty in the Department of Education and the Department of Psychology. The materials are provided to help educators learn techniques that improve instruction.
Purpose
- To provide a collection of up-to-date books and non-print materials designed to assist in the preparation of classroom lessons or that can be used during lessons by the teacher and/or students
- To offer a collection of fiction and non-fiction books for children and young adults, including award winners and other outstanding children’s works as well as books that reflect diverse cultures and perspectives
- To provide instruction and guidance in the use of teaching materials
- To bring resources and knowledge to the Berry community for the purpose of education
