UPS SHIPPING
UPS shipments may be sent from Mail Services Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Mail Services maintains a supply of UPS flat rate envelopes, packs, tubes, and other Next-Day packaging products. UPS shipping charges are paid through the use of Berry's corporate account and are charged against your departmental budget. Faculty, staff, and students may ship personal items via UPS. Personal shipments may be paid for by cash or check payable to Berry College. (UPS shipping charges cannot be charged to a faculty/staff account nor to a student "one" card account.)
Packages shipped via UPS are automatically protected against loss or damage up to $100.00. Additional insurance up to $50,000 may be purchased separately.
Certain guidelines apply:

UPS requires a complete street address for delivery. If a street address is unavailable, UPS will accept a building name, floor, and suite or room number.

UPS does not deliver to post office box addresses.

An additional fee applies to residential deliveries.

An additional special handling fee applies for Saturday deliveries.

Packages may not exceed 105 pounds or 130 inches combined width plus girth.

UPS always requires a signature for business deliveries. The signature requirement may be waived for residential deliveries.

Ground - guarantees delivery within 5 business days.

3-Day Select - guarantees delivery by the afternoon of the third business day.

2nd Day Air - guarantees delivery by the afternoon of the second business day.

2nd Day Air A.M. - guarantees delivery by 10:30 a.m. of the second business day.

Next Day Air Saver - guarantees delivery by the afternoon of the next business day.

Next Day Air - guarantees delivery by 10:30 a.m. of the next business day.

Next Day Air Early A.M. - guarantees delivery by 8:30 a.m. of the next business day. Available to select cities only.
Rates are determined by the level of service, weight, package dimensions, and the distance to the destination.
