Senior earns regional recognition for her work with enterprises

Senior Mary Chambers has been named 2014 “Student Employee of The Year” by the Southern Association of Student Employment Administrators.  

Chambers, director of the Berry Student Enterprises, is the first Berry student to receive the award which recognizes the top student for reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism and unique contributions to their college or university. The Southern Association of Student Employment Administrators includes colleges and universities from 12 southern states.  

“I attribute this award to the wonderful experience and training that I’ve received through the Berry College student work program,” Chambers said.  

Chambers, who is from Athens, Ga., received recognition for this honor at Berry’s annual Rollins Work Award Ceremony. She graduates May 10 and has accepted a position with Chick-Fil-A’s corporate office in Atlanta as an advertising and marketing campaigns team member.
