Oak Hill and the Martha Berry Museum Classroom Tour
Dear Educator:
We invite you and your students to participate in an educational experience at Oak Hill and The Martha Berry Museum, the 170 acre estate of Martha McChesney Berry, founder of the Berry Schools.
Oak Hill educational programs are designed for educators who are seeking assistance in meeting today’s educational demands. We offer interdisciplinary programs designed to enrich classroom fundamentals and meet Georgia Performance Standards. Programs can be tailored to fulfill specific objectives as needed.
For grade-level specific educational activites, please select one of the links below. The educational programs listed below pertain to Visual Art Education and meet GPS standards for Visual Art, English/Language Arts, Writing and Mathematics:

History/Social Studies
Traveling History Trunks
Traveling History Trunks are an interactive way to bring the history of Berry College to your classroom. The trunks feature educational activities for classrooms that teach your students the rich history of Martha Berry and the founding of the Berry Schools. Each trunk allows your classroom to meet its GPS standards for history, social studies, GA history, writing and reading.
Cost: $35 per week

Home School Days
Home School Days is a program designed to enrich educational opportunities for home school students and their famillies through special tours, arts, crafts and activities. Beginning Sept. 10, Oak Hill will offer Home School Days the second Thursday of each month. Registration for various activities will begin at 10 a.m.

Activities for September 10th include: Behind the Ropes Tours, Scavenger Hunt of Berry College campus, 19th Century Games, Storytelling and much more!
