Computer Labs
Computer Lab Reservation Policy
Cook, Green, Laughlin and Science laboratories may be reserved for class use during the day. To reserve a permanent time slot in one of the computer labs (i.e. the class will meet every week at the same time, always in the computer lab), please contact the Registrar's Office. To reserve a lab for one time use, or for several times but not every class meeting, e-mail labs@berry.edu at least seven days prior to the requested date. Requests are confirmed by e-mail once the reservation is made.
Computer Lab Usage & Priority Policy
Computer Lab use is granted on the following policy:
- Classes meeting in the lab as their regular meeting place
- Classes reserved in the lab, confirmed through labs@berry.edu
- Classes wishing to use the lab that do not require the lab to close
- Students using the lab for class or college purposes
- Students using the lab for leisure or personal activities
A lab assistant is normally present during all computer lab hours open for student use. They are trained in most lab software and are there for assisting lab users with their work. Lab patrons should abide by any request from the lab assistant. Any problem with lab assistants, or a lab without a lab assistant present, should be reported to the staff computer lab coordinator, Jamie Lindner, at jlindner@berry.edu . To ensure the safety of lab patrons and lab assistants, at no time are food or drink permitted in the computer labs. Failure to abide by this policy will result in removal from the computer lab.
