Ford Motor Company Gift to Berry College
Letter from Berry President

The Celebration

A Look at the Ford Complex

Assessing the Needs

The Beginning of a Lasting Friendship

January 18, 2001

Dear Alumni and Friends,

I have wonderful news to share! One of Berry's earliest and greatest friends, The Ford Motor Company, through its international non-profit fund, has pledged $9.4 million to restore the Ford Complex to its original majesty.
The Ford Buildings are not only a timeless symbol of Berry College but also a vital center of campus life, providing an inspirational place of learning, a home to many of our students, and very soon, a center for our alumni.
Martha Berry and Henry Ford believed in making the world a better place. This most generous gift preserves the legacy Henry Ford established as a symbol of opportunity for future generations.

Sincerely,

Dr. Scott Colley
