Symposium to Showcase Student Research Efforts
Berry will showcase the research efforts of more than 50 students April 7-9 at the annual Symposium on Student Scholarship. The theme of this year’s event is “Scholarship Defined by Firsthand Experience.” Admission is free and open to the public.
The Symposium on Student Scholarship is an important annual event that provides opportunity for students of all disciplines to share their scholarly and creative activities in the form of presentations and poster displays.
“Research is a vital part of the undergraduate student experience at Berry College,” said Dr. Angela Baldwin-Lanier, associate professor of kinesiology. “At Berry, it’s not uncommon for students and faculty members to work together as colleagues, publishing their results in major journals and presenting at national conferences.
“The depth and range of topics that students have prepared for the symposium highlight what students are experiencing firsthand on our campus.”
