is a professor of systematic theology at Yale Divinity School and is one of the
founding directors of the Yale Center for Faith and Culture. He received his
bachelor’s degree from Evangelical-Theological Faculty, Zagreb, a master’s
degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, and his doctorate in theology from the
University of Tubingen in Germany.
native of Croatia, Volf regularly teaches and lectures in Central and Eastern
Europe, Asia, and across North America. He is also an author and has won the Grawemeyer
Award and the Christianity Today book award. Volf is an active participant in
the Global Agenda Council on Values of the World Economic Forum.
