Business Outlook Conference at Berry College

Clemson University Professor of Economics Emeritus Bruce Yandle is the featured speaker for the 2012 Business Outlook Conference April 18 at Berry College.

Yandle is a Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Economics at the Mercatus Center, a faculty member with George Mason University's Capitol Hill Campus, and a senior fellow with the Property and Environment Research Center. He has served as executive director of the Federal Trade Commission in Washington D.C., and served as senior economist on the President's Council on Wage and Price Stability from 1976 to 1978. Prior to entering an academic career in 1967, he was in the industrial machinery business.

Yandle is on the board of the Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism and has been a board member with the Foundation for Economic Education and president of the Association of Private Enterprise Education. His quarterly newsletter, “The Economic Situation”, is distributed by Clemson’s Strom Thurmond Institute.
