Energy Star at Berry
From library computers to dorm refrigerators, a college campus is full of appliances that use a lot of energy. After Berry signed the President’s Climate Commitment, it became our policy to purchase
Energy Star appliances whenever practical. For instance,our athletics center has new Energy Star flat-screen TVs in its classrooms.
What is Energy Star? In 1992, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy created the Energy Star logo to help promote energy-efficient appliances. The logo can be found on various appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, televisions,and dishwashers.
