For Prospective Students
The Honors Program holds an orientation for the incoming
Honors students each fall during Viking Venture. The Honors Student Guide is reviewed and a time for Q&A
is provided. This year, the Honors
Student Union initiated a mentoring program in which small groups of nine
students each were assigned to seasoned Honors students. The groups were introduced to their
mentors during the orientation, and subsequent meetings allowed the students to
become immediately involved in HSU activities.
