NOTICE
There will be enforced restrictions on the Berry College Wildlife Management and RefugeAreas for the following hunting dates:
DEER & BEAR
Archery (Either Sex)
Sept. 8.-Oct. 29; Nov. 4-16; Sign-In
During archery season, jogging, hiking, horseback riding and biking are not permitted on the Wildlife Management/Refuge Areas until after 10 a.m. each day.
Firearms
Oct. 31-Nov. 3 (Buck Only-Either Sex Last Two Days)
Quota 1,000; Check-In
Nov. 28-Dec. 1 (Either Sex)
Quota 1,000; Check-In
During firearms season, jogging, hiking, horseback riding and biking are not permitted on the Wildlife Management/Refuge Areas.
TURKEY
Mar. 22-May 15; Sign-In
During turkey season, jogging, hiking, horseback riding and biking are not permitted on the Wildlife Management/Refuge Areas until after 10 a.m. each day.
SMALL GAME
Aug 15-Oct. 29; Nov. 4-26; Dec. 2-Feb. 29
No Furbearer season. Pigeons & pen-raised quail may be used for training pointing, flushing and retrieving dogs in designated areas. Rabbit dogs may be used on the bird dog training area. Bird dog training area open only from Aug. 1-Oct. 30, Nov. 4-27 and Dec. 2-Mar. 19
DOVE
Sept. 1, 8, 15; Oct. 6-15; Nov. 22-26; Dec. 2-Jan. 5
SPECIAL REGULATIONS
All gated roads and trails leading into the Berry College Wildlife Management/Refuge Areas will be restricted during these hunts. Please do not enter any of these areas on the above referenced dates. It is very important that you pay close attention to the hunting season dates and to the restrictions for your own safety and protection. The Viking Trail and all paved roads on the main and mountain campuses will remain open for normal use during these managed hunts.
There is no open season for the taking of any wildlife on the Berry College Refuge. Firearms and archery equipment are prohibited on refuge. Hunters may not use the main campus for gaining access. Horse, bicycle, and foot trails and areas are closed all day during deer firearms season and before 10 am during deer archery and turkey season. No ATV may be used at any time.

DIRECTIONS FROM ROME
Take U.S. 27 north to junction of Old Summerville Road; turn left on Old Summerville Road and go 1.5 miles to junction with CCC Road at check station.
