Chaplain's OfficeThe Chaplain’s Office has the primary responsibility for setting the religious tone on campus and assuring that we remain “Forever Christian, Always Welcoming.” The chaplain has four areas of responsibility: (1) ministering to the whole campus; (2) promoting opportunities for Christian growth; (3) supporting all religion-in-life groups; and (4) assisting with the Bonner Center for Community Service. 1. Minister to All Students, Staff, and Faculty by: * Nurturing a Friendly Climate * Assist in Times of Personal Crisis (Berry Care Network) * Berry College Emergency Relief Fund
2. Foster Interdenominational Christian Values: * Mount Berry Church * Christian Concerts * Guest Lectures & Special Events * Worship Opportunity Fair * Faith & Culture Series * Chaplain Chats * Faculty/Staff Fellowship Lunch
3. Support All Religious Groups * Berry College Religion-in-Life Groups: Baptist Student Union Berry College Volunteer Services Campus Outreach Catholic Student Association Canterbury Club (Episcopalian) Exaltation (Music) Fellowship of Christian Athletes Habitat for Humanity Heirway (Drama) In His Name (Gospel Choir) Jewish Study Group (unofficial) Latter-day Saints Association MORE Ministries Presbyterian Fellowship Wesley Foundation (Methodist)
4. Help Oversee Bonner Center for Community Service (Laurie Chandler, Director)
