Welcome to the Interfaith Council Webpage!!
Created in the fall of 2003, the Interfaith Council is a group of faculty and students who work closely with a number of departments on campus to help foster a welcoming environment at Berry College for people of all faiths.
It supports and promotes opportunities for people to learn about and participate in a variety of religious opportunities, both on campus and in the surrounding community.
History of the Interfaith Movement
Many of last year’s speakers, such as Bishop Spong and Sarah Caldwell, were sponsored in part by the IFC. The Interfaith Council is perpetually striving for more diversity on Berry’s campus and throughout the Rome area.
Our next event will not be until Fall 2006 semester. Stay tuned for updates!
The chair of the Interfaith Council for the 2004-2005 school year is Dr. Jeffrey Lidke. Dr. Lidke can be reached at (706) 368-6928 or jlidke@berry.edu
