ÒThe Biology of Transcendence:  A Blueprint of the Human SpiritÓ

A Lecture and Workshop by Dr. Joseph Chilton Pearce

The workshop will be composed of three main parts: 1) An overview of recent research in the neurosciences and neruocardiology (the "brain" and the heart) that show the transcendent nature of human biology and growth, 2) Late adolescent and early adult development, and the ways in which cultural conformity modifies and blocks natureÕs intent for mature intelligence, and 3) The underlying spiritual nature of both child and adult life and the interdependence of biology and spirit.  Question-answer periods follow each of the four divisions of the workshop.

 

International author and lecturer Dr. Joseph Chilton Pearce was born in1926 in Pineville, Ky. He served his country in WWII and attended a number of schools including Kings College and University of Southern California College of William and Mary. He has given over 2,000 talks to date, including several talks in numerous other countries such as England, Australia, New Zealand, India, Italy, and Japan. Pearce is the author of seven books, including the

                                famous book, Crack in the Cosmic Egg.
