Berry College Volunteer Services
Berry College Volunteer Services is the branch of the Chaplain's Office dedicated to helping students fulfill the mission left behind by Martha Berry, “not to be ministered unto, but to minister.” The Volunteer Services office works closely with dozens of local agencies to provide students with countless opportunities to serve. In addition to maintaining an extensive network of non-profit organizations, the Volunteer Service Office also plans many campus-wide service projects. Located on the third floor of Krannert, the Volunteer Service Office is always available to help students easily and effectively make a difference in our community.
Our Mission Statement
Martha Berry spent her life dedicated to serving others—this commitment to service created an institution whose mission is to educate and serve others through the head, the heart, and the hands.
The purpose of Berry College Volunteer Service is to engender a spirit of service, to facilitate coordination between community service organizations and students, and to provide resources and information about volunteer opportunities to potential volunteers so that we, as a college, can do our part to lend a helping hand.
