Boys and Girls Club of America

The Boys and Girls Club is a safe place to learn and grow - all while having fun. It is the place where great futures are started each and every day It has two locations in Rome, and both work with Berry
students to provide a variety of service opportunities from mentoring children regularly to working in their offices or participating in other special projects or events.

Youth for Christ - Rome

Youth for Christ is a nationwide ministry dedicated to allowing children and youth make informed decisions to follow Christ. The Rome chapter has a special focus on children in foster care programs. Additionally, they provide services to encourage Christian faith in all children. Youth for Christ-Rome requires volunteers to work with these different children in both ministry- and community-centered volunteering.

The Open Door Home

Open Door's mission is to provide sanctuary and
support to children suffering from abuse or neglect. the Open Door Home
has many opportunities for those who enjoy working with children.
Opportunities range from mentoring, to helping with donations and
various events put on by the foster home. Interested candidates with many skill
sets are encouraged to volunteer!

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America

The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of
Northwest Georgia are committed to instilling boys and girls with
courage, confidence, and character to last a lifetime! They offer time
commitments that range from one hour, to a day, to a weekend or more.
Opportunities include leading troops, events and activities leaders,
special interest opportunities, mentoring, and office assistants.
