Communities in Schools
Communities in Schools is committed to improving the success of children in the Floyd County School System. Communities in Schools provides mentor trainings on Berry's campus and other locations. This training helps prepare mentors to effectively provide support for students in academics and social interaction.

Language and Literacy Center
Based out of the Rome/Floyd County Library, the Language and Literacy Center hosts many educational opportunities for both English as a Second Language (ESOL) programs and Adult Learning. Volunteers are regularly needed as tutors and teachers.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Program at Berry 
Berry's Latin American and Caribbean Studies program sponsors an ESL program where volunteers are needed as lead teachers or teacher assistants, can work with the children of adult students. The program meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
