AgriEducation's purpose is to educate the Berry community, the Rome community, and visitors to the college about agriculture through enriching tours of the Berry Farm’s various animal operations. We will strive to provide efficient and standardized tours of the various animal facilities, to encourage collaboration between animal operations in order to provide a varied and informative curriculum and also to assemble a professional and knowledgeable staff. We encourage teachers in the Rome city and Floyd county school district as well as surrounding counties who teach grades Pre-K through 12 to contact us to schedule a tour.
Our primary customers are elementary and middle school children who take field trips to reinforce topics discussed in the classroom, however, we will also provide tours for other visitors as needed.
