Getting Involved at Berry
Student Activities at Berry is more than just social events, club meetings and building one’s resume. We strive to provide opportunities for you to become an active member of our community. There are MANY activities available for you to enjoy and explore, which in turn compliment your overall education. In other words, we want you to get involved in campus life so that you will get the most out of your college experience!
What does it mean to “get involved” in campus life? This may mean more than you think, and the answer is as unique as the individual! At Berry, we offer many avenues for involvement, including:
Why get Involved?
When you get involved in student activities, you have the opportunity to:
- Meet new people
- Continue your learning outside of the classroom
- Develop your leadership skills
- Make a difference on and off campus
- Pursue new or continued interests
- Explore major/career interests
- Network and build your resume
- Work on your time management skills
- Find your “niche” at Berry
- Have FUN!
How do you find out about opportunities for involvement? To get started on your involvement, take time to check out related Student Activities links noted at the top of this page. You should also attend the annual Student Involvement Fair, which typically takes place during the first few weeks of the fall semester. Also, stay up-to-date on what’s happening around campus by checking email announcements or fliers and other publicity posted around campus. And finally, you can always stop by the Student Activities Office. We’re here to help you make the most of your college experience.
