Berry College Student Life

Executive Officers

SGA has five elected officers who run the daily operations of the organization. Each position is a paid 16-20 hours per week responsibility through the Work Opportunity program. SGA officers must keep scheduled office hours and are responsible for all aspects of SGA. Elections for executive offices are normally held in March. Rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors may run for Treasurer, Secretary, and Vice-President of Campus Services; rising juniors and seniors may run for Vice-President of Student Services and President.

The 2012-2013 Executive officers are:

PRESIDENT

Jacob Stubbs in a senior Government and Philosophy double major from Marietta, Georgia.  He is involved in the WinShape College Program.  He enjoys reading, blogging, listening to records, inner-tubing and wakeboarding at the lake, biking, playing cello, and drinking hot tea.  His favorite movies are 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining, and Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind.  

VICE PRESIDENT OF STUDENT SERVICES

James Henderson is a senior Government major from Orlando, Florida.  He is involved with the WinShape College Program.  He enjoys doing magic tricks and hanging out with friends.  His favorite T.V. show is Seinfeld.

VICE PRESIDENT OF CAMPUS SERVICES

Ben Riggs is a sophomore Government and Religion double major from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  He is involved in the Leadership Fellows Program and College Republicans. He enjoys reading, backpacking, and canoeing.  His favorite movies are The Patriot and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. 

SECRETARY

Paton Roden is a sophomore Spanish and Accounting double major from Birmingham, Alabama.  She is involved in the Leadership Fellows Program, Berry Investment Group, and Lambda Sigma.  She enjoys traveling, watching college football, and spending time with family and friends.  Her favorite moves are Pride and Prejudice and Sixteen Candles and her favorite T.V. show is Gilmore Girls.    

TREASURER 

Cassie Hale is a junior Finance and Accounting double major from Erwin, Tennessee.  She is a Campbell Fellow and is involved with the Berry Accounting Association.  She enjoys shopping, cooking, and spending time with family. Her favorite T.V. show is How I Met Your Mother.
