Personal Development Library
In the main reception area, you will find books, pamphlets and audiotapes on a broad array of topics related to personal growth, academic skills and relationship challenges. Examples of available books are The Road Less Travelled by M. Scott Peck, Your Perfect Right by Robert Alberti and Michael Evans, Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers by Robert M. Sapolsky, Learned Optimism by Martin E.P. Seligman and Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. Brochures are yours to take for free; books and audios are checked out for two weeks. Holdings are listed in the Memorial Library catalogue.
Drug/Alcohol Information Resource Room
This room is located next to the main parking lot entrance to the Ladd Center. It serves as an office for the peer educators and a library of books, journals, videos, audios, brochures, posters and other items related to drugs and alcohol. It was developed through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to enhance our drug education efforts. Holdings are listed in the Memorial Library catalogue. Brochures, are free; books may be checked out for two weeks; and videos may be viewed in the resource room or checked out for group use for 48 hours.
