James T. Douglas, M.D., Medical Director
Anita Errickson, R.N., Director of Health Services
Anita has been a nurse for 36 years and has worked in a variety of settings, becoming Director of Berry College Health and Wellness Center in 2004. She received her degree from Dalton State College in 1978, after which she worked in medical/surgical and neurological units, labor and delivery, neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation services, a family practice residency office, and college health. She and her husband Joe worked overseas for just over two years at King Fahad Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She enjoys whitewater rafting, reading, attending concerts and plays, church and community activities.
Brenda Robinson, R.N.
Brenda began working at Berry in 1996 on an as needed basis before joining the staff in 1998. She has worked in the health care field since 1969 and has been a Registered Nurse for 27 years., receiving her nursing degree from Floyd College in 1987. She worked in medical-surgical and orthopedics at Redmond Regional Medical Center before coming to Berry. She is BCLS and AED certified. Brenda enjoys working with the students and faculty/staff at Berry, reading, music, computer games and shopping for antiques. Brenda resides in Silver Creek with her husband Alan, who is the Director of Telecommunications and Network Facilities here at Berry. She has two children, Chris who lives in Rome, and Amanda, who resides in Albany.
Jane Adams, R.N.
Jane is the most recent addition to the Health and Welness professional staff. Coming to us in the Fall of 2013 on a part time basis, she has been an R.N. for 12 years - all of which has been in the Emergency Department of a local hospital where she is also currently employed. Before joining the regular staff, Jane worked in the Health and Wellness Center on an "as needed" basis for 5 years. Prior to becoming a nurse, she was an EMT for a year. Jane brings a variety of experience to compliment the staff in the Health and Wellness Center.
Emma Cordle, R.N., FNP
Emma is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in
the medical field. She works in the office of Dr. James Douglas, our
medical director, and provides acute care and GYN services one day each week.
Jane Bridges, Secretary
Jane joined the Health and Wellness Center team in February 2009. She has experience in business offices, insurance filing and most recently as Administrative Services Coordinator for Sara Hightower Regional Library. She is proficient in Word Perfect, Microsoft Excel and Access, various FundWare and has Human Resource Management training. She is a Rome native, and lives with her husband in Lindale.
