"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. “~ Marianne Williamson

Most Influential Person: My Mommy!

Advice to incoming freshmen: Don't give up, even when school/life isn't going the way you hoped it would! Don't be afraid to ask for help and/or advice.  Don't forget to pray! Don't Procrastinate.

Most influential person: John Tuttle is the most influential person in my life. When I was in junior high I found out he was a teacher who just liked to run, sometimes he was doing it in between class changes. Then, in high school, I found out he was an Olympian. Since coming to college,  I found he once had an American record and that he has quite a bit of skill in every running event from the mile to the marathon and he seems to become greater and greater the older I get and the more I find out about him. He is one of the main reasons that I started running and I can never thank him enough for that because running has led me down some very interesting paths from the trails of Douglasville to my ability to be able to attend Berry College.
