Members of the Black student Alliance (BSA) work together to promote the integration of Black culture into the Berry College academic and social environment. One of the most popular events sponsored by BSA is the Martin Luther King Jr. Talent Show, which showcases the considerable talents of members of the Berry College and Rome communities. BSA began the new year by hosting the annual Martin Luther King Prayer Breakfast with a record breaking attendance of 500 guests on January 17, 2009. Other activities of Berry's BSA Organization include: The Atlanta AIDS Walk, Relay for Life, and Leadership Team at Anna K. Davie Elementary School, in the city of Rome. Our goal is not only to provide services, activities, and a sense of togetherness on Berry's campus, but also to become a positive force in the community of Rome.
BSA Meetings are held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Cultural House.
