College policy requires that all students under the age of 25 live on–campus unless they live at home with their parent(s) or are married. Letters from parents should accompany this request stating the intent of their student to live at home for the academic year.

A letter of support from a parent needs to accompany this request if commuting from home. Letters of support may be emailed to residencelife@berry.edu or faxed to (706) 236-5098. Please note we will be using your parents' address on record and calculating the distance using Google Maps.


Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Senior Lottery process: have a 1000 or 2000 lottery number, good academic standing (minimum of 2.5 GPA), and good conduct standing.

Submitting this information does not guarantee that you will be approved to move off–campus. The Residence Life Office will notify you of a decision concerning your housing request.
