Lindsey Taylor
Assistant Dean of Students for Residence Life
Lindsey manages the Residence Life department and is responsible for the strategic direction and departmental evaluation. She directly supervises all four of the professional staff members. She lives on campus with her husband, Derrick, their son Afton, and their dog, Bailey. Lindsey holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Valdosta State University and a master’s degree in higher education from Ole Miss.

Dennis Goshorn
Associate Director of Residence Life
Dennis oversees the entire student housing selections and assignments, works closely with the Physical Plant for facility management, and is the Office of Residence Life’s conduct officer. He lives on campus with his wife Jan, and their dog, Padme, and cat, Schudder.
Dennis earned a bachelor’s in criminology and master’s in higher education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Diana Haase
Office Manager
Diana provides full administrative support to the Office of Residence Life. She supervises the student office workers, and coordinates professional staff schedules, manages student information and records, and assists in organizing communication from the office to students and parents. Diana currently lives in Rome with her husband, Rick. Both of Diana’s daughters have graduated from Berry.
Natalie Bates
Coordinator of Residence Life
Natalie supervises mostly upperclassmen areas, including Alternative (Centennial, Townhouses, Cottages), Morgan/Deerfield and Mountain Campus (Friendship/Pilgrim). She lives on campus with her husband Nathan and their daughter Addie Kay. Natalie holds a bachelor’s in communication from Berry College and a master’s degree in higher education from the University of Alabama.

Matthew McCarthy
Coordinator of Residence Life
Matthew is the most recent addition to the Office of Residence Life, joining in June 2011. He supervises mostly freshmen areas including Morton/Lemley/Poland, Dana/Thomas Berry, and Ford (Clara, Mary). Matthew lives on campus with his dog, Jarvis. Matthew holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from East Carolina University and a master’s degree in higher education from Ole Miss.
