Bowdoin Baseball Field

Ford Fields were developed in the mid-1980s. The Bowdoin Baseball Field, named for William R. Bowdoin, is home to the Viking baseball team, which competes regionally with other NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) teams. Mr. Bowdoin, chairman of the Berry College Board of Trustees from 1960 to 1984 (then continuing as trustee emeritus until his death in 1996), served as chairman of Trust Company of Georgia.

Adjacent fields are home to men's and women's soccer teams. Berry has twice hosted the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championships here--in 1994 and 1995.
