Woodbury Cottage |
| Located at the end of Lavendar Mountain Drive, this cottage was built in 1947 and was home for the headmaster of Berry Academy. Designed by Cooper, Barrett, Woodbury, Skinner and Cooper, the cottage was given by Mrs. Virginia Campbell Courts, of Atlanta, for Headmaster and Mrs. Fred Loveday. Martha Berry was Mrs. Courts's aunt. It is a gracious home featuring hardwood floors, an open staircase, and a fireplace. For many years the home of Berry Academy's headmaster, it was enlarged in the late 1980s to house homeless children with a foster family. |
