Director of Annual Giving and Special Programs

I’m a Rome native, born and raised. When I graduated from high school, I was eager to see the world beyond my hometown, so I took off for college to American University in Washington, D.C. I loved my four years there. I met students and faculty from many different cultures with perspectives very different from my own, and I had the chance to travel and study abroad.

After graduation and a lot of “trial and error," I fortunately landed in the non-profit world, which was a perfect fit for me.  It wasn’t always easy – the heart gets taxed and the pennies get pinched - but I honestly have not been able to follow any other path, even when I’ve tried.  And thankfully that path led me to Berry College.  Martha Berry’s mission of head, heart and hands is very much alive and well in this beautiful place.  As the Director of Annual Giving and Special Projects, I get to work with many of our alumni donors and help them connect their love for Berry with lots of different projects and efforts that benefit our students and keep the college going strong.

There is a terrific saying here at Berry – “We All Row” – and the Guide program is just one great example of that.  My undergraduate years were some of the best, challenges and all, and I want every Berry student to be able to say the same thing about his or her time on this amazing campus.  I’m excited to be part of this journey with you.
