David Barr is a scholar of Christian social ethics, with a specialty in the environment. His courses at Berry include Introduction to Christian ethics, Environmental Ethics, Biomedical Ethics, and Race and Religion in America. His current research relates the Christian realism developed by Reinhold Niebuhr to the project of responding ethically to environmental problems.
