Assistant Professor of Data Analytics

Dr. Thema Monroe-White is Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at Berry College. She has decades of combined evaluation, research and data analytics expertise from her years as a consultant, nonprofit leader and instructor.
In her consultative and nonprofit leadership roles, Dr. White has addressed critical programmatic and organizational challenges through her use of statistical modeling, data mining and data visualization techniques. As an instructor of data analytics, she places a strong emphasis on hands-on and experiential learning approaches using a wide range of software. Dr. White regularly presents at professional and academic conferences and publishes articles in a wide variety of journals pertaining to social enterprise, entrepreneurship and innovation in STEM fields and equity and inequality in scientific careers.
Dr. White holds a Ph.D. in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as an M.S. in Neuropsychology and B.S. in Psychology from Howard University.
