The Berry College Forensics Union

What is the Forensics Union?

The Berry College Forensics Union, or BCFU, is a competitive speech and debate organization. BCFU helps young adults who are passionate about a variety of topics express their ideas and enhance their communication skills. BCFU also provides professional development and advisement for future goals. The team travels locally and nationally to represent Berry College in competition of public address, oral interpretation and limited preparation events.  Learn more about our team at!

With a group of energetic and hard-working students from different backgrounds and different majors, BCFU has collected an impressive record of achievements. Some of the team’s outstanding achievements include:

  • Two Interstate Oratory Champions.
  • 29 National Champions at Novice Nationals during the past 14 years.
