The Art Program prepares students to embark on a lifelong engagement with artistic expressions and enterprises. Upon completion of their program, Art majors receive the Bachelor of Arts degree, and elect a concentration in studio art, art history or art education.  Upper level majors have access to private or semi-private studio space available to them 24 hours a day. Studios include space for large paintings, drawing and ceramics. The program has established agreements with two Florence-based schools so that students may immerse themselves in Italian culture for a semester, a year or a summer.
