The Berry College Concert ChoirThe Berry College Concert Choir

The Berry College Concert Choir performs as both a combined choir and separately as women’s and men’s ensembles. This non-auditioned choir is open to all Berry students and performs three to four concerts each year. They perform a wide array of classic choral literature - from Orff’s Carmina Burana with The Atlanta Ballet to Bloch’s Sacred Service with The Chattanooga Symphony.  For more information, contact Paul Neal.

The Berry College Jazz Ensemble is renowned for its tight and energizing performances, outstanding soloists and talented student arrangers. Directed by John David, the ensemble performs music ranging from exciting new contemporary jazz works to swinging classics. The Berry College SingersThe Berry College Singers 

Berry Singers is the premier choral ensemble at Berry College. This chamber choir tours both regionally and internationally, presenting various repertoire of early Renaissance motets to contemporary choral works. Berry Singers is open to major and non-music majors, but auditions are required. The Berry College Symphony OrchestraThe Berry College Symphony Orchestra 

The Berry College Symphony Orchestra (BCSO) is open to all qualified Berry College students by audition. The orchestra regularly performs both classical and non-classical music, and it is committed to enriching students’ lives through the extraordinary experience of presenting high-quality performances for the campus community. One of the highlights of the orchestra's season is joining the Berry choirs to present the annual Lessons and Carols Christmas concert each December. The BCSO rehearses and performs in historic Ford Auditorium within the iconic Ford Complex. Interested string players should contact Dr. Eric Hanson, Director of the Berry College Symphony Orchestra at for more information or to schedule an audition.  Woodwind, brass, and percussion students are admitted into the ensemble on recommendation by their Berry College applied lesson instructors. Music scholarships for participation in the orchestra are also available by audition. 

The Berry College Viking DrumlineThe Berry College Viking Drumline 

The Berry College Viking Drumline is renowned for its tight and energizing performances, outstanding school spirit and talented student performers.  Directed by John David, the ensemble performs music ranging from classic drum cheers and cadences to exciting works from STOMP and DCI.  The Viking Drumline is the official music ensemble of Berry College Athletics. 

The Berry Wind EnsembleThe Berry Wind Ensemble

The Berry Wind Ensemble is a major ensemble of approximately 70 students that performs significant repertoire for wind and percussion instruments. It is open to all qualified students through an audition process and offers students a performance experience with a broad range of literature at the highest level. Guest conductors, composers, and artist level performers are brought in to provide a unique and rewarding educational and musical experience for students involved in the ensemble. The Berry Wind Ensemble performs four concerts (two concerts per semester) which contain a varied amount of literature ranging from the cornerstones of Wind Band to more contemporary works that have just recently been composed.
