Students who are interested in teaching Mathematics at the middle or high school level can complete a dual major in Mathematics and Secondary Education in order to be a certified teacher upon graduation. Below you will find a faculty advisor in this area who is familiar with teacher education and STEMTeach who can answer questions. You will also find a 4-year plan that can help you combine the coursework in both the Mathematics and Secondary Education majors.
