Chemical biology research at the University of Oxford

Berry Associate Professor of Chemistry Lindsey Davis recently spent six months researching in the lab of world-renowned chemical biologist, Dr. Benjamin Davis, at the University of Oxford.

“I'm a trained organic chemist, but through this experience I learned techniques and research in an entire different field to my training. Chemical biology, as the name would suggest, is an interdisciplinary field that mixes molecular biology and organic chemistry. Because of what I learned at Oxford, I am hoping to develop these types of projects in my lab at Berry and Berry undergraduates will be a part of this research.”
