Berry Staff Awarded National Education Recognition

Several members of Berry College's Academic Transitions team received recognition as part of the Georgia College Personnel Association.

Sarah Kaufman, Berry’s associate director for academic transitions, wrote the award-winning proposal for the Outstanding Chapter of the Year during her tenure as president. The Outstanding Chapter award is one of the top awards granted by American College Personnel Association, the leading national association for professionals in higher education.

Kinsey Farmer, assistant director of student success, and David Eller, director of student involvement, are also on the executive board for the winning chapter.

The national award highlighted the team’s dedication to higher education. The American College Personnel Association awards Outstanding Chapter of the Year based on the chapter’s commitment to its core values of influential scholarship, shaping reflective practice and advocating for inclusive academic environments.
