The Berry College Dance Troupe's 21st annual concert will be at 8 p.m. March 1-3 in the Rome City Auditorium.
An additional show will be at 2 p.m. March 3.
Stories will be brought to life through dance, and the audience will go on a journey that explores scripture, stories, secrets, rites of passage and the paths of our lives that weave together. About 25 students will perform ballet, contemporary, Latin, tap, jazz and hip-hop dances.
The faculty choreographers are Artistic Director Jeanne Schul and Stacey Perkinson, owner and Artistic Director of Scenic City Dance in Chattanooga, Tenn. The student choreographers are Amanda Tomlinson, Emily Zillweger, Amber Kelley, Davidson Mobley, Hannah Barnes, Morgan Weigle and Aubrey Clark.
The show is $5 for students and $10 for adults.

“Urinetown- The Musical”
The Berry College Theatre Company will perform its rendition of “Urinetown- The Musical” for their first spring show continuing March 1-4.
Created by Greg Hotis and Mark Hollman, and directed by Visiting Assistant Professor in Theatre Hannah Hammond, the Tony Award-winning musical shows what happens when extreme water shortage and a 20-year drought leads to a government ban on private toilets and the revolution that follows.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays. General admission is $10, $7 for senior citizens and $5 for students.

Berry Singers Concert
The Berry Singers Pre-Tour Concert will be at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, at the Berry College Chapel.
The Berry Singers will be performing works that will be featured on their international tour under the direction of Berry College Director of Choral Activities Paul Neal. The 23 singers will be making their way to Vienna, Salzburg and Prague in late March.
The performance will include works conducted by Austrian composer Franz Herzog and American composer Mark Popeney, and also historic works by Johannes Brahms and Antonin Dvorak. The performance will conclude with folk songs by William L. Dawson and Mack Wilberg.
This event is free and open to the public.

Moon Gallery Presents, “Dark Feet and Dark Wings”
The Berry College Moon Gallery presents “Dark Feet and Dark Wings: On Being a Blind Photographer” by Pinky Bass March 19 through April 19.
The artist talk and reception will be at 5 p.m. March 19. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
The solo exhibit is built around the question of what it means to “go without sight.” Bass’s work focuses on her personal history and how the body transforms over time. The show title references Wendell Berry’s poem, “Go without sight and find that dark, too, blooms and sings, and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings.”
Bass is famous for her work with pinhole photography and works with a range of media showcasing her work in over 40 solo shows throughout the United State and abroad. Following a career as a missionary in Mexico and raising a family, she received her MFA from Georgia State University. Her work is supported through numerous grants including the Southern Arts Federation/National Endowment for the Arts and the Alabama State Arts Council. Bass now resides in her family home in Fairhope, Ala.
