Missouri poet and editor Gabriel Fried will read his award-winning poetry at 7:30 p.m., April 17, in the Berry College Chapel.
Fried has authored two collections of poetry, “The Children are Reading” and “Making the New Lamb Take,” which won the Kathryn A. Morton Prize. Fried’s works were named a top poetry collection by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and Foreword Reviews. His poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, the American Scholar and the Paris Review. He is an assistant professor of creative writing at the University of Missouri.
