Award-winning poet Elena Karina Byrne will read her poetry at 4 p.m. Friday (Nov. 9) in the Berry College Chapel.
Byrne is the poetry consultant and moderator for the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, and was regional director of the Poetry Society of America. She is currently the literary programs director for the Ruskin Art Club and a judge for the Kate/Kingsley Tufts Award in Poetry. She received the 2015 Distinguished Service Award from Beyond Baroque’s Literary Arts Center.
